Dr. Séverine Minot
COO and Co-Founder
Dr. Minot earned a PhD in Sociology at York University Toronto, focusing on cross-cultural adaptation and relations. She also earned a Master in the Sociology of International Development, with an emphasis on cultural consumptions and social change at the household and community level.
Dr Minot has worked as a faculty member in various universities in Canada, Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan and Morocco; as a former Policy Analyst for the Government of Canada (at Intergovernmental Affairs, within The Queen's Privy Council Office and at the Official Languages Secretariat, within the Department of Canadian Heritage); as a refugee support officer in the U.K.; and as a researcher and NGO development consultant in Peru, among many other assignments and positions.
She has worked in cross-cultural capacity building in education and development for over 27 years. Dr Minot is a seasoned public speaker with experience in radio, television, podcast, and with online and live/on-site audiences internationally, across cultures, age groups, occupational fields and socio-economic stations.
She is a Certified Group Facilitator, Inclusion and Diversity Officer, Project Manager, and an Accredited Mediator. She brings a wealth of expertise to the GCCIE team across all departments, and currently serves as the COO.


Andrew Frezludeen
CEO and Co-Founder
During his 25+ years in international education, Andrew has dedicated over a decade to serving as a Head of School, alongside leadership roles such as Consultant, Principal, Vice-Principal, IB Coordinator and Teacher. His career highlights include opening new schools, leading curriculum development, and serving on accreditation teams committed to upholding and advancing educational quality.
Andrew's professional journey has taken him across Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, Morocco, and Qatar. Passionate about cultural intelligence and diversity, he has also traveled to more than 60 countries, gaining firsthand insights into global perspectives and intercultural exchange.
Dedicated to advancing the integration of global citizenship and cultural intelligence education, Andrew is committed to fostering inclusive, forward-thinking learning environments where students develop the skills, character, and curiosity needed to thrive in a globalized world.
Born in Guyana and raised in Canada, Andrew is a native English speaker who also speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese. He holds a Master's in Educational Leadership (USA), a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts (Canada).
